As the job-hunting season for college graduates reaches its critical juncture, the Ministry of Education is set to initiate the “100-Day Sprint” campaign aimed at facilitating the employment of the 2025 graduating class. This strategic initiative focuses on two key aspects: precisely expanding job opportunities and enhancing employment services, with the ultimate goal of ensuring a smoother transition from campus to the workforce for young graduates.
Recent data reveals an impressive scale of upcoming recruitment activities. Throughout May, education authorities across the nation are scheduled to organize more than 250 provincial-level recruitment events, which are expected to offer over 900,000 job positions. Meanwhile, colleges and universities will host nearly 3,000 on-campus recruitment drives, providing an estimated 2 million job opportunities. These numbers underscore the government’s commitment to creating a robust job market for fresh graduates.
A highlight on the calendar is the deployment and promotion meeting for the “100-Day Sprint” action in Jiangsu Province, which will take place in Lianyungang on May 21. This event will see the participation of over 100 renowned enterprises and institutions in person. Moreover, more than 1,000 employers will contribute over 10,000 job demands, all of which will be disseminated widely via online platforms. This dual approach of offline participation and online dissemination ensures maximum reach for job seekers.
In the northeastern region, the 2025 College Graduates’ Talent Double Selection Fair is set to kick off in Changchun towards the end of May. Over 600 enterprises from seven major sectors, including equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, and the ice and snow economy—all integral to regional industrial revitalization—will be in attendance. Collectively, these companies will present more than 10,000 high-quality job positions, offering graduates a diverse range of career paths to explore.
These upcoming events, part of the broader “100-Day Sprint” action, represent a concerted effort to support college graduates in their employment journey. By combining the resources of the public and private sectors, the Ministry of Education aims to ease the challenges of job hunting during this crucial period and help the class of 2025 secure fulfilling careers.
