Over 17 years, the partnership has helped hundreds of children overcome physical and social barriers to get quality education. It shows how long-term dedication can create real change in communities.

SCG plans to expand this model to other provinces in Vietnam. The goal is to make this initiative a key part of the company’s work on inclusive and sustainable development.

Praween Wirotpan, deputy country director of SCG in Vietnam, said, “The theme ‘Dreams on a Nurturing Journey’ reflects our wish not only to bring happiness but also to give students knowledge, confidence, and inspiration to follow their dreams. Our activities, such as sports, science and technology, green recycling, and career guidance, support well-rounded growth. The success here encourages us to bring this program to more provinces.”

As part of the celebration, SCG and DRD hosted a special course for 100 hearing-impaired students. The course combined practical digital skills training with an inspirational talk.

The “Online Safety” workshop taught students how to stay safe online. It covered protecting personal data, avoiding scams, and dealing with inappropriate content. Teachers acted out real-life situations, followed by group discussions to help students recognize dangers and make safe choices. Sign language interpreters and visual tools made the lessons clear and engaging.

Many students showed excitement and pride during creative activities and enjoyed meeting inspiring mentors.
