Kids ‘R’ Kids Secondary School organised a one-day capacity building programme under the CBSE framework, focusing on the concept of active learning. The event brought together teachers and education leaders to explore learner-centred teaching methods in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The workshop aimed to help educators move away from traditional lecture-based teaching. Instead, it encouraged interactive, hands-on, and reflective classroom practices. The focus was on developing students’ curiosity, critical thinking, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving skills — the key components of active learning.
The session was led by two experienced educators — Dr Seema Biji, Principal of Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School, and Jasjit Kaur Jaggi, Director Principal of Silver Wings Universal School. Both shared practical strategies and insights to support teachers in making classrooms more engaging and student-focused.
Vice Principal Jasmine Kaur honoured the guest speakers with tokens of appreciation, recognising their important role in promoting professional development and educational innovation. Principal Anupam Grewal and Jasmine Kaur thanked the resource persons and all participating educators for their active involvement and dedication to improving teaching practices.
The programme reflected the school’s ongoing commitment to modern, student-friendly education that prepares learners for real-world challenges.
