Globeducate, a prominent international education group, has recently announced the acquisition of the International School of Paphos (ISOP), further strengthening its presence in Cyprus and enhancing its global network of over 65 bilingual and international schools. With a commitment to offering a diverse range of curricula, including the National Curriculum for England and the International Baccalaureate, Globeducate serves more than 40,000 students across 11 countries, including Cyprus, France, India, Italy, and the United Kingdom. In Cyprus, Globeducate’s local network also includes PASCAL International Education and the Educational Group Olympion.
Founded in 1987 by Mr. Theodoros Aristodemou, the International School of Paphos stands as the first private English school in the region. The institution has grown to serve nearly 1,200 students ranging from Kindergarten to the equivalent of A Levels, earning a reputation for academic excellence and holistic development. ISOP offers a comprehensive educational experience underpinned by the National Curriculum for England and is accredited by prestigious examination boards such as Cambridge International Education (CIE) and Pearson Edexcel.

The acquisition is set to be finalized pending approval from the Commission for the Protection of Competition. The legal teams overseeing the transaction included Globeducate’s lead advisors, Pittas + Koullouros LLC, and S.A. Evangelou & Co LLC, representing Mr. Aristodemou.
