EL PASO COUNTY — Signing up for early childhood education and school bus services just became easier with the launch of the Community Partnership for Child Development’s (CPCD) new initiative, ‘A Bus for Us,’ which started on Monday.
This program aims to bring the bus to various locations across El Paso County, making it more convenient for parents to enroll their children in free transportation and early childhood education programs offered by different school districts.
“We’ve observed that transportation is a significant challenge in our community,” said Paola Venegas from CPCD. “Our goal is to reach families directly so they don’t have to struggle to get to us.”
The bus will make its inaugural stop at the Deerfield Community Center, located on the southeast side of the city, next Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
