Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed Special Assistant Sania Ashiq to distribute Eid gifts to 40,000 differently-abled children across the province.
Sania Ashiq visited various special education institutions, including the Government Degree Colleges for Special Education in Johar Town and Nishtar Town, and the Government Shadab Institute of Special Education. She personally handed out Eid gifts and cards to students in each classroom, while also sharing a message from the Chief Minister.
“Special students in all districts of Punjab will receive Eid gifts,” said SACM Sania Ashiq. She confirmed that the goal of distributing gifts to 40,000 children would be met before the Eid holidays.
The Chief Minister also announced that new projects for the welfare of special children are being launched in Punjab.
Additionally, the special assistant planted a sapling in the lawn of a special education college as part of the initiative.
