Danielle Brooks, founder of His Kingdom Carriers, has made a meaningful impact in St. Louis by helping students overcome obstacles to their education through transportation services.
After the loss of her mother to breast cancer, Brooks decided to leave her 20-year career in corporate America. She founded His Kingdom Carriers, a faith-based company that supports charter schools, school districts, and student-centered organizations in the area.
Reflecting on her decision, Brooks said, “It’s been the most meaningful thing in my life. I just want to make sure every student has the opportunity to get an education without any barriers. That’s really our goal.”
While transportation is at the core of the company’s services, His Kingdom Carriers also partners with local nonprofits. The company dedicates both time and resources to supporting families in need. During the holiday season, they go the extra mile by providing gifts to the students they transport. Last year, over 200 students received Amazon gift cards to ensure they had something special under the tree.
Sonja McClure, a driver for the company, praised Brooks’ leadership, describing her as “a beautiful soul…who is humble, selfless, and thoughtful about the needs and care of others.”
Brooks attributes her success to the strong support of her team and family. She highlights their shared commitment to giving back to the St. Louis community. “We were all born and raised here,” Brooks said, emphasizing the company’s mission to show love to the city that raised them.
